 Thomas A. Renyi was the former chairman and chief executive officer for the Bank of New York Mellon before his retirement in 2008. His leadership in banking spanned almost four decades and included key leadership roles in securities servicing, credit policy, capital markets, and domestic and international banking. Tom is chairman of The Financial Services Roundtable and currently serves on the boards of directors of Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated, The Clearing House, and the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation. Tom is also a member of the boards of trustees of Rutgers University, Bates College, and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. He serves as a director of United Way of New York City, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., and is on the board of managers for The New York Botanical Gardens.
